Robin Mandell, CPA, CGMA
Senior ManagerA member of the CJBS team since 2001, Robin currently serves as a senior tax manager. Her responsibilities include: reviewing tax returns (including corporate, partnership, state and local, multi-state, and individual returns), conducting tax research, reviewing write-up work and compilations, and supervising other staff members as they complete similar projects. Additionally, Robin provides business consulting services to clients on accounting and tax issues as well as complex tax planning for closely-held businesses.
Robin works primarily in the real estate, manufacturing, and service business industries. She is the firm leader for cost segregation studies, and state and local tax issues. Prior to joining CJBS, Robin spent 17 years honing her expertise at Geo. S. Olive & Co., American Woodmark Corp, and at firms located in Mississippi and Ohio.
A hard working and intelligent professional, Robin is a strong technical resource for her CJBS teammates. She believes that personal service is the key to client satisfaction. A self-described “numbers person,” Robin chose to pursue a career in accounting for the variety of both work and clients that it offered.
Raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Robin currently resides in Gurnee, Illinois with her husband. Together they have two adult children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, socializing with friends, going for coffee at a local cafe, and shopping.
