As the April 15th deadline for individual tax returns rapidly approaches, it is important to have all of your documentation in order. If you haven’t sent us your documents yet, you will be put on an extension. Aside from personal tax returns, Trust and C-Corporation returns are also due to be filed or extended by April 15th. The beginning of 2024 came with a pivotal update in business compliance. The Beneficial Ownership Reporting requirement is now in effect, obligating clients who have formed a business in 2024 to submit a comprehensive report within 90 days of their formation. Businesses established before 2024 will have until the end of 2024 This regulation is designed to enhance transparency and fortify the integrity of business practices.
