CJBS Named One of Illinois’ Best Places to Work for the Fourth Year in a Row

For the fourth consecutive year, CJBS has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois, a distinction awarded by the Daily Herald in partnership with the Workforce Research Group.
In 2022, we debuted at #41. The following year, we climbed to #19. Then came #26 in 2024. And now, in 2025, we’ve reached our highest position yet: #13.
This annual award honors companies across the state that excel in fostering a strong workplace culture. Finalists are evaluated through a rigorous process that weighs both company practices and employee feedback. The scoring is based on 20 percent employer input and 80 percent employee survey results. That means the rankings reflect not just policies on paper, but how employees actually feel about where they work.
For CJBS, that’s what makes this recognition so meaningful.
“This award is about more than our workplace. It’s about the relationships we build here,” said Jeffrey Stuart, Managing Partner at CJBS. “We’ve always believed that when you invest in people, everything else follows. Seeing our team feel heard, supported, and empowered, that’s what success looks like to us.”
At CJBS, culture isn’t an afterthought but central to how we do business. We’re proud to offer a place where people grow, collaborate, and feel like their work truly matters.
To be recognized by the Daily Herald and, more importantly, by our own team is an incredible honor.
Thank you to every member of the CJBS family who makes this one of Illinois’ best places to work, not just in title but in truth.
Here’s to #13 and to the journey ahead!
