Summer Staff Promotions

Congratulations to our CJBS team members who were recently promoted! Even with the challenges presented by Covid-19, these collaborative and resilient professionals adapted to a changing environment and excelled at serving our clients every day. 

In our tax department, Sophie Chen, who focuses on business and individual tax returns, was promoted to Senior Staff Associate. Sophie’s dedication to our clients’ success is a hallmark of her work. Gabe Virdaru, CPA was also promoted to Senior Staff Associate, after starting with CJBS in 2020 and working diligently in the tax department. His positive energy and ability to find the “why” behind the numbers, along with his excellent communication skills, go a long way when collaborating with his team members and clients alike. 

Also newly promoted to Senior Staff Associates are Barbara Lis and Wendy Li, CPA. Both team members specialize in preparing partnership, corporate, and individual tax returns, as well as financial reporting. With her enthusiasm and hard work, Barbara consistently exceeds expectations. Wendy, who is focused and loves a challenge, embraces learning new skills. 

Team member Lilly Qiao, CPA, whose primary focus is corporate and individual tax, and accounting work, was promoted to Supervisor. Her attention to detail and commitment to success for herself and the clients she serves has been instrumental in her growth.

Finally, Noel Wilson, CPA has been promoted to Manager from Senior Staff. He brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience, and works hand-in-hand with leadership on business compilations, reviews, and audit engagements.
